“Introduce yourself! What are 5 things that everyone going to BiSC should know about you?”

1. While I am fiery and passionate, I am rarely argumentative. …Because I would rather be kind than “right.” [Even if I am right ;) ]

2. I am fairly certain that I was a Geisha in a past life…and announced this in the 4th grade to my class, while learning about Japan. (It does put Lucky Bloke in a better context though!)

1. Surprise! My attendance this year is a direct result of The Nicole Effect/gentle bullying. That is NOT a bad thing.

2. I just completed my 2nd half marathon with 4 other BiSC-uits! I have 2 more planned for this year, along with some other shorter distance races. I promise I’ll try to refrain from talking about running too much. Maybe. As I type this, I still have limited use of my legs, which always makes me rethink these choices, and then I forget about it a week later and sign up for more races. Feel free to call me crazy—everyone else does!

2. I have an awfully dirty and foul mouth. Seriously, my mom hates that shit.

1. I played seven sports as a child, but I’m more klutzy than athletic. I have plenty of scars to prove it. And just in case you’re still doubting me, just watch me on the dance floor.

Uno. BiSC 2011 was the first time that I “traveled” anywhere without my family. It really changed my life and because of it, I was socially comfortable to go on a 2 week Canadian “contiki” in the fall. I don’t think I would have ever done that had I not stepped out of my comfort zone to experience BiSC ’11. I really don’t have any idea what the BiSC experience COULD have been like if I had left all my inhibitions in California, so it’s something that I really hope to do this year.

1. I believe in guardian angels. Before I was active on the internet, I was skeptical.

2. I will be bringing another suitcase full of shoes to Vegas this year. If you haven’t seen them, find out what my glitter shoes are, you’ll love them.

1. I have an Irish liver…thank God. Because I drink….a lot. But, fortunately, I’m never hung over. At least I can thank my parents for one thing.

“Introduce yourself! What are 5 things that everyone going to BiSC should know about you?”

1. I recently quit my job. Most difficult and best decision I’ve ever made. My boss was a major major _____ (rhymes with bucking snitch, lucking ditch, shucking hitch, mucking rich) and was seriously affecting my overall well-being.
